THE CHARISMATIC GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We had a prayover session last weekend during our men’s retreat, and it was recommended that we pray for a fresh outpouring of the Spirit for each other. I struggled to remember the nine CHARISMATIC gifts of the Holy Spirit. I realized that not only did I need a fresh outpouring, but I needed a reminder. So I dug up my teaching notes about these nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, and saw that I had last given this teaching in 2001. God forgive me.

In his 2010 Lenten Message, Pope Benedict talked about the dangers and the sin of self-sufficiency. I’m glad he spoke about that. It affirms my prayers.
