Part 1 — What an Evangelist Believes, Thinks, and Feels

March 2, 2025 by Eddie 4 Comments

NOTE: This is Part 1 of the EVANGELIST’S CODEBOOK for Ligaya ng Panginoon ESB members.

Do you want to develop an evangelistic lifestyle? Well, and good. For, as a disciple, you have been called to make disciples of all. And you cannot do that unless you adopt AN EVANGELISTIC LIFESTYLE. So, here are a few mindsets that you have to embrace fully in order to begin to be an authentic, Holy-Spirit-driven evangelist:

  • You appreciate that you yourself was once lost, but now has been found.
  • And because of this, you know that Matt 28:19-20 is your personal calling as a disciple, and are committed and hold yourself accountable to do your part with fervor.
  • You have a burden for those who don’t know Christ (Rom 9:2-3), and who are not even in the first stage along the 6 stages of spiritual journey (a Ligaya teaching).
  • You see yourself as a farmer who sows the seed wherever and whenever, without discriminating.
  • You see yourself as the instrument of salvation in someone’s life.
  • You trust the Holy Spirit to provide the words (Luke 12:12) and you are prayerfully attentive to the Holy Spirit’s leadings.

“I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Eph 3:18-19)
