DAY OF PRAYER GUIDE in 6 Parts

January 11, 2023 by Eddie 2 Comments

“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” (Mark 6:31)

Dedicating a significant amount of time alone in a quiet place at the start of the year to engage in an intimate conversation with Lord is a rewarding exercise of faith.  It’s the perfect time to reflect on the year that has just passed with thankfulness, and open yourself up to the Lord’s purposes with prayerful expectation for the year ahead. Birthday anniversaries are a good time as any to look back at the last twelve months and count your blessings, and reflect on the road ahead. Tonight, I have dug up my old writings, and would like to share this timeless piece which I wrote 21 years ago. I thank God for the journey I have taken with these men.

Nobody knows when they will die. But if you were given the chance, would you be willing and able to choose the day when you will die?  And if so, when would that be?  Let me share with you my answer and why I chose that particular date.
