When you come to the Lord in prayer, asking for His help for yourself, or while interceding for others, you might find encouragement by studying how the good king Jehoshaphat interceded to God during a desperate moment in his kingship over Judah (in 2 Chron 20). “Rejoice in the Lord always!” Paul says in Phil 4. He further encourages them by saying “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
The other night, I was speaking to my brothers and sisters in our District in Ligaya, and I summarized what those who spoke ahead of me were saying. I said, “Grabe, parang hindi tayo nauubusan ng mga serious problems, ano?”
